Green Accelerators

Exciting News from Kranevo, Bulgaria!

From June 10-20, the beautiful village of Kranevo became the backdrop for our exciting youth exchange under the Erasmus+ initiative. The project, “Green-Accelerators,” brought together 40 enthusiastic young leaders and eco-activists from Bulgaria, Italy, Hungary, Romania, and Poland. Over ten transformative days, we focused on promoting creativity, innovation, social entrepreneurship, and environmental awareness through a variety of hands-on, non-formal learning approaches.

Main Highlights of the Exchange:

1.Interactive Workshops: Participants actively engaged in group-based work, energizers, and skills-based seminars. These workshops enhanced communication abilities and practical knowledge, helping them better understand how to address environmental issues in their communities. Through interactive activities, the group explored topics such as climate change, resource management, and sustainability, all while building essential leadership skills.

2.Cultural Dialogues: Cultural exchange played a key role, as participants shared customs, traditions, and experiences from their respective countries. These discussions fostered a deeper understanding of cultural diversity, encouraging mutual respect and collaboration. This cross-cultural dialogue not only broadened horizons but also strengthened the bond between participants, creating an inclusive and dynamic environment.

3.Eco-Friendly Activities: A central focus was on sustainability. Through hands-on activities, participants were introduced to the concepts of reducing waste, reusing materials, and recycling. They brainstormed creative ways to lead eco-conscious lifestyles and practiced these approaches throughout the exchange, from reducing plastic usage to upcycling materials. This practical experience helped instill eco-friendly habits and sparked ideas for future environmental actions.

4.Entrepreneurial Skills: The exchange also emphasized developing entrepreneurial skills, particularly in the realm of social entrepreneurship. Participants engaged in creative tasks and workshops, learning how to turn their passion for environmental causes into viable business ideas or social initiatives. Through innovative thinking exercises, they explored ways to address social challenges through entrepreneurship and sustainability-driven projects.

5.Solidarity and Inclusion: Inclusivity was at the heart of the exchange, as the program aimed to bring together participants from diverse backgrounds, including individuals with fewer opportunities. We created a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, promoting solidarity and ensuring that everyone, regardless of their personal circumstances, could fully participate and benefit from the program.

The experience was not only about learning; it was about building lasting friendships and international networks that extend beyond borders. Participants left the exchange with a wealth of knowledge, new skills, and lifelong memories. The exchange also had a significant impact on their personal and professional lives, equipping them to take action in their communities and lead sustainable change.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all our incredible partners, including Dare to Scale Academy Association (BG), Fiatalok Egységben Egyesület (HU), Fucina Salentina APS (IT), JUST DO IT (PL), and Innovation Education Lab (RO), whose collaboration and dedication made this exchange a tremendous success.

As we continue our mission to empower and inspire young minds across Europe, stay tuned for more updates and future projects. Together, we can build a brighter, more sustainable future!

Green Accelerators

This project was a 10-day Erasmus+ youth exchange that brought together passionate young people from five EU countries to address one of the biggest challenges of our time: the environmental crisis. Through creativity, entrepreneurship, and conscious thinking, participants explored how social entrepreneurship can be a powerful tool for sustainable change.

The project aimed to empower young people with entrepreneurial skills and a green mindset to generate eco-friendly solutions for their communities. All activities were based on non-formal education and intercultural collaboration.

What we have done

Over 10 days in the beautiful coastal city of Varna, our participants dived into an interactive and inspiring program designed to build awareness, creativity, and entrepreneurial skills in the context of sustainability. Here’s a snapshot of what we did:

  • Team-Building & Icebreakers – We kicked off the program with energizers and intercultural games to build trust and connection among participants.
  • Green Thinking Workshops – Explored climate change, pollution, sustainability, and circular economy through simulations and debates.
  • Entrepreneurship in Action – Participants learned how to apply business tools to social and ecological challenges, from identifying problems to pitching solutions.
  • Skill-Sharing Sessions – Everyone brought something to the table—public speaking, design thinking, eco-design, storytelling, and more.
  • Eco Hackathon – Teams worked intensively on developing real-life green startup ideas, which they later presented in a final showcase.
  • Cultural Nights – Each group hosted an evening sharing their traditions, music, food, and stories—celebrating diversity and unity.
  • Online Content Creation – Participants collaborated on videos, social media campaigns, and blog-style stories to spread their ideas beyond the project.
  • Nature & Reflection Time – Daily reflection circles and outdoor moments helped us reconnect with ourselves and nature.

The program was vibrant, hands-on, and deeply transformative. Every day ended with smiles, stories, and the feeling that change is possible—starting with us.
